Moo’s Dinner Table Vol. 3, Sautéed Cabbage with Ground Beef

Some days move fast.

But your body still wants something real.

This humble dish of sautéed cabbage and ground beef is our go-to when time is short and hunger is honest.

It’s warm, grounding, and full of quiet strength — just like the people who make it.

✨ No fancy ingredients.

Just simple fuel that gets you back to life.

Ingredients

  • Half a head of green cabbage, chopped
  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp tallow (or your favorite cooking fat)
  • 1 tsp soy sauce or coconut aminos
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: a splash of broth or water if needed

Instructions

  • Heat tallow in a pan. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  • Toss in the ground beef. Stir-fry until browned and cooked through.
  • Add chopped cabbage. Stir well.
  • Season with soy sauce, salt, and pepper.
  • Cover and let it braise on low for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • If needed, add a splash of broth to help soften the cabbage.

🐮 Moo Moo's Note:

This dish is quiet, honest, and full of fiber.

It’s something you cook when you don’t feel like talking — but still want to feed someone with care.

You don’t need fancy ingredients. Just patience.

Because flavor comes from time, not trend.
